In the past few days yet another milestone has been reached in Lake Garda with the completion of an ITRS Level 2 training organised for various personnel from APT Garda Trentino, APT Val di Sole, APT Val di Fassa and APT Fiemme – Cembra along with Garda Rangers and staff from PAT (Provincia autonoma di Trento), CLA (Consorzio Lavoro Ambiente) and Trentino Marketing.
Spread over two days the training included classroom sessions as well as field exercises to assess different trails in the area of Monte Brione and Valle di Ledro where the pilot signage project has been running since the beginning of the 2023 summer season in Lake Garda.
The attendees also had the change of a sneak preview of the ITRS Trail Rating app that is still under development and will streamline data acquisition and trail assessment in the filed.
