The International Trail Rating System, an objective way to assess mountain bike trails and routes from a biker’s perspective, has been presented at the IMBA Europe Summit in Val di Sole (Italy) last week in front of an international audience of mountain bike experts.
The ITRS Team presented the International Trail Rating System during one of the breakout sessions of the Summit which title this year was “reframing mountain biking”.
Fun fact: the trail the ITRS Team in the outdoor session assessed the famous black snake World Cup DH trail as well as a shorter trail closeby that was built in 2017 during the IMBA Italia Trail Building School (see here the report and the images of this trail being built).
