Endurance Hike & Run

Combined effect of length, ascent and descent meters of a route

The effect of a climb on a very steep trail versus a climb on a trail with gentle grade on the endurance requirements is not captured here. It has to be taken into account for each route/tour individually.

Make sure to use the “endurance calculator” in the full documentation (available here) to evaluate the endurance factor.
