I really like how the ITRS system allows for an in-depth analysis of the trail, using a variety of metrics to build out a picture of the route. The field data combined with the app allows me to make in-depth and knowledgeable assessments that are scientific in value to the client and remove ambiguity and personal preference from professional trail rating.
ITRS has multiple uses for professional trail builders, as an assessment tool for existing trail or a proof of fulfilment for new built trails. ITRS has given me a new ‘toolbox’ that is useful in all aspects of my professional work.
